Ilex is our 'beefmaker' - if you want great beefy steers, he's your bull! His heifers can be outstanding when paired with a good cow, too.

He was genetically tested for numerous traits and excelled above breed average for temperament and longevity both of which we can see as he is a complete gentleman and 10yrs old but shows no sign of slowing down, but the 'tenderness' score was the real surprise - off the scale!
